Lou has spent his career leading the PEO industry forward, having served as president, president-elect and vice president of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO). Today, he is chairman of the New York State Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NYSAPEO) and chairman of the Employer Services Assurance Corporation (ESAC).
Lou brings with him 35 years of HR and business leadership experience delivering superior solutions and results for small- and medium-sized businesses and nonprofits. As co-founder of one of the first PEO's in New York State in 1986, Lou guided the organization and led its tremendous growth – from a small firm with 35 clients and 475 associates to a nationally recognized professional employer organization with more than 300 clients and 5,000+ associates. He is regularly called upon for expertise and insight by media outlets, business groups, HR organizations and government agencies. Lou is the recipient of many awards and accolades, including those issued by the NAPEO, Ernst & Young, the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) and the Business Counsel of New York.
